MASGAMES project has been selected, bringing MASA Life™ technology to health care training

MASGAMES project has been selected, bringing MASA Life™ technology to health care training.

PARIS, FRANCE (September 16th, 2009) — Cegos, MASA Group and Formavenir Performances are glad to announce that the MASGAMES project has been selected by the French Government as part of the "Plan de relance numérique", to bring innovation in training in the health care sector.

The main objective of this project is to deliver a Serious Game allowing trainees to develop various skills, such as patient relationship management, crisis management (in day-to-day practice or during a contagious disease outbreak), or the management of cultural diversity, throughout various professional scenarios. Trainees will have the possibility to play either health care professionals, patients, or their relatives, in an asymmetrical pedagogical approach, other characters being autonomous characters driven by MASA Life™ technology.

Main markets targeted are: training for public or private health sector services, of any size; training of independent health professionals; self-training of individuals at large, through an online e-learning platform, in order to address simultaneously a wide audience, fostering collaborative work and networked practices in the health care sector. Beyond direct commercialization of a Serious Game product, this project will allow the development of MASA Life™ human behavior components, reusable in other training applications dealing with crisis situations, targeting for example public services and the financial sector.
