Saab’s new Command and Control (C2) training offering will be powered by MASA’s Battle Command Constructive Simulation, MASA Sword. The Saab C2 Training solution will provide a bi-directional link between simulation and C2 based on intelligent behaviours and doctrines. This capability greatly reduces the need for simulation operators needed to drive command and staff training for exercises.
The primary goal for Saab C2 training is to improve the readiness of officers and soldiers while providing an efficient and cost-effective training solution. MASA Sword’s unique Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilitiy enables role players to be live or virtual without sacrificing the quality or fidelity of training. This new capability allows staff members to train individually, with smaller groups, or manage much larger exercises with reduced preparation. This revolutionary capability allows staff to manage the battle from their C2 environment allowing the execution of complex battle plans and making mission rehearsal and course of action analysis a reality in the operations centre rather than the battle laboratory.
