MASA Group presents its latest versions of MASA Sword and MASA Life at ITEC in Cologne, booth B170
Paris/France – May 3, 2011 – MASA Group is a leading provider of advanced software solutions using Artificial Intelligence technologies for modeling and simulation. Demonstrations will be conducted at ITEC in Cologne, Germany, of the latest versions of MASA Sword and the MASA Life suite of products. MASA Sword is a COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf) next-generation constructive simulation for Defense/Security training, analysis and C2 related applications. The MASA Life suite of products is an end-to-end solution for the development of autonomous virtual characters used in virtual simulation environments.
MASA Sword v4.3 is an aggregated constructive simulation COTS product designed for Defense/Security staff training and readiness. MASA Sword supports both military and civil exercises spanning all aspects of defense, emergency and homeland security operations. This new version introduces 64 Bit optimization, a brand new communication API and full support of HLA 15.16 evolved, including an innovative integration in a multi-resolution simulation platform that will be demonstrated during the show.
MASA Life Brain is a structured AI modeling solution made for creation/integration of virtual characters and human-driven objects into simulation environments. MASA Life Brain enables behavior modelers to easily create compelling training and simulation experiences by enhancing them with intelligent non-player controlled actors. This new release includes a more direct and efficient integration with pathfinding. Additionally, the behavior modeling workflow has been streamlined, enabling brain modelers and integrators to create, debug, and maintain their behaviors.
MASA Life Brain powers MASA Life Form, a procedural character animation solution that integrates Natural Motion’s morpheme:connect for authoring and controlling animations. Pre-packaged game-quality asset libraries are provided by TrailerCode (formerly Mobility Art) and are delivered with MASA Life Form. MASA Life World, a full-featured 3D visualization development framework that combines Trinigy’s Vision engine and MASA Life scenario development tools.
