Since 2001, MASA Group has provided groundbreaking solutions to its Defense customers:
- SCIPIO and its follow-up SCIPIO V1.STAB is a Command Post training system for Army Brigade/Division levels.
- MCH is an entity-level simulation of military operations on urban terrain.
- SCALPED is a self-training version of MASA Sword, created and made available for training Army officers.
- CALIPSO is an Army Corps-level operation planning tool.
- PERSEIDES is an analysis tool to run and assess scenarios for the study of architectures for CBRN defense.
- STEAMER is a Navy operational planning support tool.
- INTELLIGENSIA is a decisional plug-in on top of JTLS (Joint Theatre Level Simulation).
Security
Since 2005, MASA Group has provided innovative solutions to its Security customers:
- COS is an immersive training simulation to help train firefighter incident commanders in firefighting schools.
- DESCARTES is a European project involving major actors in the military and security sectors. Its main goal is to provide a common framework, including the simulation platform itself, for the simulation of emergency situations like earthquakes, storms, terrorist strikes, etc.
- TARANIS is a European project whose main goal is the development of a training platform for crisis management and risk forecast at police and local authorities level.
- DiFac is a European project which aims at the development of an innovative Collaborative Manufacturing Environment for next generation digital manufacturing.
- CRIMSON is a European project which aims at the development of a system for preparation, coordination and training of participants involved in a urban crisis, using innovative virtual reality technologies.
Games
Since its foundation in 1997, MASA Group has developed several acclaimed games:
- Manager’s Studio, a serious game to train project managers in a virtual office environment.
- Conflict Zone, a real-time strategy (RTS) game taking place in early 21st century.
